The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The firm is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of mineral properties located in Nigeria, Senegal and Burkina Faso. The company holds a 100% interest in the Segilola Gold Project located in Osun State, Nigeria, has a 100% economic interest in the Douta Gold Project located in south-eastern Senegal and has a 100% interest in the Guitry Gold Project Cote D'Ivoire. Its flagship project is the gold producing Segilola Gold Project located in Osun State, Nigeria, over 120 kilometers (km) northeast of Lagos. The Douta Gold Project comprises three exploration permits located within the Kenieba inlier, eastern Senegal. The Douta mining lease application (Demande) No.11618 is held by the Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary African Star Resources Incorporated. The Douta-West Project, comprising exploration permits E03709. The company also has 65% interest in the Bousankhoba Exploration Permit EL02254.
